Shutter Speed1/10 1/20 1/40 1/80Through using a higher shutter speed I was trying to freeze the subject in my photo. We can see that when the shutter speed was 1/10 the subjects a blur, and you can't really see her clearly. In the last photo with a shutter speed of 1/80 you can see she is frozen and you easily see the details of her person. Aperturef2.8 f3.5 f4.0 f5.0With a higher aperture I was hoping to get a longer depth of field. In the first photo with an aperture of f2.8 you can't really see that clearly beyond the first stool. In the last photo with an aperture of f5, even though you can't, you should be able to see the stools further down with more clarity. 1. Fast shutter speed means letting less light in which means less exposure. It is also used to freeze motion. 2. A slow shutter speed lets more light in meaning more exposure. It also adds more motion blur to the image 3. A large aperture lets more light in which gives you a higher exposure. It also gives you a shorter depth of field. 4. A small aperture lets less light through, that gives you less exposure but a larger depth of field.
